Watercolor: Focusing on Color, Composition and Layering

Through an in-depth study of layering and transparency, you will stretch your perception of how you see, think about and interpret an idea or image into watercolor. Students will work on subject(s) of their choosing and will re-imagine them by using a focused approach to composition, color, layering, light and shadow. Expand what you know through individual mentoring keyed to your specific needs. Lessons focus on developing skills to better see, mix, choose, place and layer color as it applies to watercolor. Demonstrations and references to contemporary and traditional watercolor artists are included.
