Bring your family stories and learn how to record them while making art in this two-day workshop! You will learn how to draw a four generation family Genogram (family tree that comes alive in the context of time, people’s behavior, and emotional relationships), identifying patterns and interaction styles. You will choose the Genogram sections that spark your curiosity and manipulate them artistically to explore your feelings/reactions to the family history. We will work on various types of paper including clear-contact to engage in different methods for transfers, printing and collaging on wood panels. This will be an insightful yet relaxing class. Bring your old photos and memories!
