In this experimental acrylic painting class, Adrienne will introduce her joyful approach to art-making that utilizes found papers and materials extracted from your recycling bin. Those cast-off catalogs, magazines, grocery lists, and homework projects will be given new life as you extract and incorporate the images, colors, and textures into your own new beautiful vision. In addition to these papers and paint, adrienne will demonstrate how to use a variety of mark-making materials, including ink, string, pencil, and marker to illuminate that there are no rules in making art—just a spirit of experimentation, the mindset that risks should be taken, and a belief that there are no mistakes!
