MEDIUM: Oil and/or Acrylic Paints
A painterly approach to learning about color and water. Have you ever wondered how Homer created those expressive waves and how Turner or Whistler achieved such beautiful effects of atmosphere? In this class students will learn how to create the illusion of reflections on still water, movement in the ocean and transparencies of water in marsh areas. Students will learn about the color theory concepts by referring to photos of waterscapes and historical references. Drawing and Painting experience requested.
