Daphne Confar
This class is a fun, low stress, creative, and imaginative approach to landscape based on direct observation and imagination. You will start your painting onsite, using black and white acrylics and finish in the studio with oil glazes. We will revisit the site frequently to inform your work, so there will be a fair amount of outdoor observation and painting.
Daphne will teach you her personal technique which involves putting down many layers of black and white acrylic, using thin layers of paint, sanding the layers down with sandpaper, and then building them up again.
There will be individual attention and direction throughout the workshop.
