May 14 - May 16, 2022, 3-day Zoom workshop presented in collaboration with the Concord Art Association. This workshop builds on the success of two previous 3-day classes offered through the Zoom format (one in 2020, one in 2021). The woodblock workshop by Zoom has missing some of the tactile, direct introductions you get with the in-person classes (how damp to make the paper, exactly how much pressure to use with the baren), but these shortcomings are more than made up for by the fact the class gets participants set-up to carve and print in their own workspaces, under their own initiatives. This is huge, an opportunity facilitated by the use of worked-out thorough kits I mail out to each participant containing everthing needed to make a color woodblock print.
