Beginner and Intermediate Levels
In this class, we will explore how underpaintings impact your pastel painting as we continue to rely on the principles of value and composition. We will be using Uart sanded paper , 400 grit, neutral color for this session. Do not substitute papers as not all pastel papers are made for underpainting.
The classes are energetic, highly interactive and individualized to student needs . Janet Schwartz designed the Release Your Inner Artist programs as a practical strategy to get beginners started on painting and give experienced painters a fresh approach and to fine-tune their skills.
Most students are inspired to continue painting long after the program ends.
