IN PERSON: Approaches to the Figure with Ron Krouk SOLD OUT!

Our subject will be a live model on video, some filmed models and some inspiring works of art. Using both drawing and painting media we'll practice different approaches which will focus your attention on simplifying the figure in space. Relying on observation, we'll explore ways to establish correct proportions and create effective compositions. Emphasis is on the difference between everyday seeing and seeing for the world of two dimensional relationships, relative angles and dimensions, shapes, values, and colors. Every level of experience is welcome. A model fee divided among the participants which you will pay directly to the instructor.
