OUTDOOR WORKSHOP 1: Outdoors with Fall Colors! Painting with Charlie Shurcliff

OUTDOORS WITH FALL COLORS!

We will paint outside in the wind and sun, in among the colors of autumn. Our location is nearby in Concord and will offer ample choice of subjects as well as room to spread out. Our goal is simply to try and make something from what we see -- whether straight depiction, abstract, or somewhere in-between. It is a chance to get outside and explore and loosen up, a chance to concentrate on colors and color relations and, as ever, the sense of light and aliveness of the real world.

This workshop is for experienced painters. While oil and acrylic are preferred, all mediums are fine. Bring enough canvasses for quick studies and larger paintings. Bring lunch and water, and gear for sun and wind and whatever the weather. The specific location and directions will be emailed prior to the workshop. Public restrooms will be available on site.

All safety protocols will be observed. Students and Teacher will wear masks at all times and keep a safe distance from each other.

Rain date will be 24 hours later, weather permitting, or as otherwise decided by Concord Art.
