A real-time class through Zoom starting at 10AM
In this class we will work from fall photos and use these to evaluate the landscape. Learn to break down the landscape to understand the light, color relationships and learn how to simplify form. Painting outside students will gain a greater understanding of value and color. Jill will help you learn how to design, simplify and get down a landscape within 2.5 hours at the most. When you go outside the light is changing, the wind is blowing, so you will learn what to do to make decisions to make a successful painting. Students will learn how to simplify and get ideas down fast, decisive and with confidence. The class will also address equipment. There will be crits and historical references given.
