This class will meet ONLINE via ZOOM MEETING.  Ron will send an invitation in advance of join the ZOOM meeting/class and he will be there live during your three hour online class.

Usually, we like to know what we are doing but in painting, we don’t.  But that doesn’t mean we can’t be learning. This 3 hour class includes drawing and painting from a model (working live from home) and from still life.  The focus is not on product but on practice, observation and approaches to drawing FOR a painting.  We’ll use a combination of slide show, lecture or demo and guided practice to address some of the challenges we all have in telling observational truth while intelligently simplifying.  We’ll look at the group’s work and conclude with an assignment to be started in class but completed during the week.   It’s to everyone’s benefit to include many different experience levels.  At times part of the class will look in on a demo while others go right to work.   Model fee is included in price.
