Virtual weekly online class on Tuesdays starting July 7
A real-time class through Zoom video meeting and starts at 10AM.
In this class we will work from photos and use these to evaluate the landscape and understand the light, color and form. Painting outside is the ultimate experience but we are inside now! Jill will help you learn how to design, simplify and get down a landscape within 2.5 hours at the most. When you go outside the light is changing, the wind is blowing, so you will learn what to do to make decisions to make a successful painting. Students will learn how to simplify a tree/bushes or a series of rocks, to get ideas down fast, decisive and with confidence. The class will also address equipment and set up on location.
