In this workshop students will learn to wet felt seamless forms that can become sculpture or functional objects like mittens.  The class will also include creating layers in both three-dimensional and flat-felted work.  Felted work is soft, lightweight and colorful, and we will create gorgeous, unique work in this class.  After three days of felting, you’ll be well on your way to creating anything with felted wool.  Felting is an ancient technique that doesn’t require much except water, soap and wool fibers.  It is somewhat physical, so please take that into consideration.
