Come enjoy the summer breezes under old shade trees on an 18th century New England farm.  The scenery ranges from pastures and stone walls to horses, woodlands, and even a small pond.  This workshop is designed to encourage each participant’s own vision and creativity with individual critiques as well as demonstrations.  We will be looking beyond the obvious, concentrating on the subtleties of nature that will allow individual expression.  Subject selection, composition and choice of palette will be discussed.  At the end of three days there will be a general critique and review.  Outdoor painting equipment is required as well as a box lunch.  Some light refreshment will be provided.  The workshop will meet at Concord Art on the first morning and we will caravan to the farm.  In case of inclement weather, the workshop will take place at Concord Art.
