Color Workshop
Medium: Oils and Acrylics
Instructor: Valerie Isaacs
Improve your ability to see color in this two-day workshop. Learn to recognize what you are seeing even in whites, neutral colors, reflected lights, dark darks. Mixing from primaries will improve your skill in recognizing relative temperature, hue and value. Exercises in working with complementary colors help develop sensititvity to differences in colors. We will work from still life in the studio. Weather permitting, students may paint outdoors near the ConcordArt building.
