Join established printmaker Jan Powell, who will teach this six-week introduction class to introduce you to our new printmaking studio at Concord Art.
In this printmaking class students will harness the power of the press to pull their own unique images. Through a series of demonstrations and hands on experience participants will be exposed to a variety of techniques including monoprints, collographs and drypoints. Simple registration techniques will be explained to allow for the layering of color, pattern and texture on the same image. By the end of the course students will have a body of work that reflects the techniques covered and a growing confidence in this exciting process.
Please note: this workshop takes place in Concord Art's new print studio. The workshop is limited to 5 participants!
