Non-Anxious Collage

Instructor: Alexandra Sheldon
Collage can be a great medium for loosening up and having fun. Alexandra will get all participants so busy making art that they forget about feeling anxious! This class is open to complete beginners as well as experienced artists looking for new and fresh directions. We will explore color, light, movement, texture, composition, story and space. Materials for the collages will be made in class by painting papers, printmaking on papers, making different kinds of transfers, experimenting with faux acrylic encaustic techniques, and integrating natural elements like leaves, sand and bark. Emphasis will be on being together in a supportive and creative space.
