Exploring Color and Composition with Acrylic Gouache

Demystify color mixing and improve your compositions using acrylic gouache–an opaque, water-based paint that is vibrant, inexpensive and incredibly forgiving. Working from fun and colorful still life setups that will change weekly, you will learn how to mix an unlimited range of colors from a limited palette. Exercises in composition will introduce you to ways of composing a picture you may not have tried previously. We will also explore collage as a means to simplifying your compositions and painting style.
