This workshop will get you in top-notch drawing shape! We’ll explore a wide range of materials and approaches to drawing while working from a still life throughout the weekend. You will come to appreciate the limitations of black and white, but we’ll also explore a wide range of color. Instead of laboring over a drawing, the class will work quickly and produce lots of work, allowing you to lose yourself in the process and let go of the desire to make something “good.” You will stretch your body, mind, and your idea of what drawing is, and in the process, develop a drawing practice you can continue with after the workshop ends.
