Animal Portraits in Pastel Pencil

Animals have their own unique features and expressions (as any pet owner knows!). Using photos of a warm-blooded, fur-bearing pet or wild animal for reference, here’s your chance to create an original portrait that realistically captures its personality. Drawing with pastel pencil on toned paper, Helen’s demos and personalized instruction will guide you in rendering accurate proportions, challenging textures such as fur, and more.
