Exploring Color and Composition with Acrylic Gouache

De-mystify color theory and improve your compositions using acrylic gouache–an opaque, water-based paint that is vibrant, affordable and incredibly forgiving. Working from fun and colorful still life set-ups that will change weekly, you will learn how to mix an unlimited range of colors from a limited palette. Exercises in composition will introduce you to ways of composing a picture you may not have tried previously. We will also explore collage as a means to simplifying your compositions and painting style.
