Are you drawn to abstraction as a way for your art to speak in a poetic language that doesn’t pin down a narrative? Do you wonder how to make your artistic practice more satisfying and judge yourself less in the process? This threeday course will teach you how to access this poetic language of abstraction. You’ll learn how to trust yourself while drawing on individual strengths and interests. This class is focused on creating a related body of work. You will come away from this class with 10 to 20 paintings and collages on paper that will provide lots of direction for independent work.
