Drawing and painting on paper is a fresh and direct way to work. The wet surface allows for fluidity without hesitation. Whether you work in an abstract or representational style, using your intuitive hand while responding to the materials, will bring spontaneity and a fresh approach to your work. During this one day workshop, we will use acrylic paint and mediums along with a variety of brushes and drawing materials on paper. Starting with drawing as the foundation for structure, we will layer the paint as the process begins. You will explore line and color, both wet and dry to create your unique imagery.
