This class will offer basic knowledge of sailing and boats and their relation to water and weather as translated on a two-dimensional surface. A creative approach to composition will be addressed using each participant's own vision and reference materials. We will discuss the suitability of a medium for a specific subject, from quiet coves and rivers, to stormy seas and skies. You may use a painting or drawing medium of your choice or combine several mediums to achieve varied mood and atmosphere.
