Shelly is a colorist in every sense of the word and will demonstrate how to push color when creating a pastel painting. She will create a painting from her Chic Antique series, in which she uses the rhythms, repetitions, and reflections of the cacophony of items that are strewn on the tables and walls of antique shops.  Shelly will demonstrate her process which begins with large shapes that become refined as the artwork develops, using a painterly and loose style. She is an engaging presenter and you will leave inspired and more knowledgeable about this luminous medium.
