The class focuses on the study of the figure and explores composition and anatomy. We refer to art history and observe how artists have used the figure, working out ideas of expression and movement. In each class a live model assumes a variety of poses and students focus on how to best express the subject. Suggested media include pastel, pen, pencil, charcoal, watercolor and acrylic paint. Class includes model fee.
