Photographing outdoors in the winter presents both, challenge and opportunity: cold weather and snow are challenging to the equipment and photographer, but the sparse and snow-transformed landscape offers great opportunities for unique images. In this workshop, Erik Gehring will discuss and demonstrate tips, tricks, and techniques to help protect you and your camera from the weather while capturing wonderful winter landscapes. The first meeting will be split between classroom and field work; the second meeting will be a review of the previous day’s photos, and then more field work in the beautiful Concord area.
